Vivaz

Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 August 2026

By using Vivaz you accept the terms below.

What the app is

Vivaz identifies plants from photographs and keeps track of your watering. Treat it as a helper you can overrule.

Identification is an estimate, and the app tells you so. Each result carries a confidence percentage and alternatives because it can be wrong. Do not eat, brew or apply a plant on the word of this app, or any other.

Pet safety information comes from the ASPCA's published lists and covers cats and dogs. Read it as a reference. If you think an animal has eaten something toxic, call a vet instead of opening an app.

Your content

You own the photos and notes you add. They stay on your device and we claim no rights over them.

Subscriptions

We sell Premium as an annual or a monthly plan through Apple or Google, who handle billing and renewals. We sell no weekly plan. Whatever is free on the day you install stays free for you.

Acceptable use

Do not break, overload or work around the identification service or its quota. That free allowance is what lets the app stay free for everyone else.

No warranty

We provide the app as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we still cannot promise that an identification is right, that a watering suggestion suits your home, or that the service never goes down. So far as the law allows, we accept no liability for damage arising from your use of the app, a dead plant included.
